A Three-Day Guided River Adventure Through Nature & Mindfulness

Kayak • Explore • Experience

Escape to the crystal-clear Blanco River for three days of adventure, relaxation, and direct connection with nature. Kayak through spring-fed waters, walk and sit in the river, explore a private island, enjoy nourishing vegetarian meals, evening sound baths, and plenty of free time to swim, relax, and unwind. Hosted by Zoetic, an art, nature, and mindfulness retreat center, this unique experience blends outdoor adventure with simple mindfulness practices that help you experience the river—and yourself—with greater presence.

Retreat Description

The Hill Country River Retreat is an invitation to experience one of the most beautiful stretches of the Texas Hill Country in a way few people ever do. Over three days you’ll kayak through crystal-clear water, snorkel beneath the surface, walk and sit in the river, explore a private island, observe wildlife, enjoy delicious vegetarian meals, and unwind with evening sound baths. With generous free time built into each day, you’ll also have plenty of opportunities to swim, relax in a hammock, journal, or simply enjoy the peaceful beauty of the river.

Created by Zoetic, an art, nature, and mindfulness retreat center, this retreat approaches every activity through the lens of direct experience. Rather than separating mindfulness from adventure, we weave it naturally into every river experience. As you paddle, explore, rest, and play, you’ll discover a richer way of experiencing the river—one that often brings a quieter mind, a deeper connection with nature, and a renewed sense of wonder.

Whether you’re an outdoor enthusiast, an experienced meditator, or simply someone looking for a meaningful getaway, this retreat offers a rare opportunity to slow down and immerse yourself in the beauty of the river. You’ll leave with unforgettable memories, a deeper appreciation for the natural world, and practical ways to bring the clarity and presence you discovered on the river into everyday life.
