You may choose not to participate in any activity or may change your mind at any time, including after initially deciding to walk.
2. Acknowledgment and Assumption of Risk
You understand that firewalking and related activities involve inherent risks that cannot be completely eliminated, even when reasonable safety precautions are taken.
These risks may include, but are not limited to:
- Burns, blisters, or other injuries to the feet or skin
- Exposure to heat, fire, hot coals, embers, sparks, or smoke
- Slips, trips, or falls
- Physical discomfort or injury
- Emotional or psychological discomfort
- Risks associated with outdoor terrain, weather, plants, insects, animals, and natural conditions
- Other foreseeable or unforeseeable risks associated with participation in activities involving fire and heated materials
You understand that walking across hot coals can result in burns or other injury and that no representation or guarantee is made that participation will be injury-free.
By choosing to participate, you knowingly and voluntarily accept these risks.
3. Personal Responsibility
You are responsible for determining whether participation is appropriate for you.
You agree to inform the facilitator before participating if you have any condition, injury, mobility limitation, impairment, or other circumstance that could affect your ability to participate safely.
You agree to follow all safety instructions provided by the facilitator and Zoetic River staff.
You understand that the facilitator or Zoetic River staff may ask you not to participate in the firewalk if they believe participation may present an unreasonable safety risk.
4. Alcohol, Drugs, and Impairment
You may not participate in the firewalk while under the influence of alcohol, recreational drugs, or any substance that significantly impairs judgment, balance, awareness, or your ability to follow safety instructions.
Zoetic River and the facilitator reserve the right to prohibit participation when a participant appears impaired or otherwise unable to participate safely.
5. No Guarantee of Outcome

No particular physical, emotional, spiritual, psychological, or personal outcome is promised or guaranteed.
Participation is not a substitute for medical, psychological, or other professional care.
6. Release and Waiver
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, you voluntarily assume the inherent risks associated with participation and agree to release and hold harmless Ars Vivendi LLC, Zoetic River, and their owners, employees, facilitators, contractors, volunteers, and representatives from claims arising from the ordinary inherent risks of your voluntary participation in the Firewalk experience, except to the extent such a release is prohibited by law.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions is intended to waive rights or responsibilities that cannot legally be waived under applicable law.
7. Emergency Assistance
If an injury or emergency occurs, you authorize Zoetic River staff or facilitators to seek reasonable emergency assistance on your behalf when circumstances warrant it.
You understand that Zoetic River does not guarantee the availability or outcome of emergency or medical services.
8. Compliance With Instructions
For the safety of everyone present, you agree to follow instructions regarding the fire area, approach to the firewalk, walking procedure, designated observation areas, and other safety procedures.
