Beginners Mind | Every Other Wednesday 6:00 p.m.

Beginner’s Mind is a class for everyone, whether you are completely new to meditation or have been practicing for years.

Each class, we gather in the Meditation Hall at Zoetic River to explore one meditation practice in depth. We look at the science behind the practice, the contemplative traditions from which it emerged, and then we practice together — moving from understanding into direct experience.

Throughout the series, we explore practices such as mantra, open awareness, walking meditation, stillness, darkness meditation, sound as an anchor, breath as an anchor, and more.

Your mind is a powerful instrument. Meditation gives us a way to understand it, work with it, and return to the experience of being fully present.

If you are curious about meditation, this is a place to begin your adventure inward. If you already have a regular practice, it is a place to explore, deepen, and practice alongside others.

Each class concludes with a Subatomic Soundbath.
